Hymnambulae is a ritual music project by the Swedish siblings Pär Boström and Åsa Boström, striving to seek a vocabulary for the innermost and a deciphering of liminal spaces.

Their first album, Orgelhuset, was intended as a mythological house between worlds, a ceremony taking place, combining the siblings’ symbolism.

Their second album, Nausikaa, completed a long-held vision to combine the electroacoustic ambience of Hymnambulae with voice recordings by the Swedish mystic, poet and translator Gunnar Ekelöf (1907-1968).

Hymnambulae is the centerpiece of the sibling’s own label Hypnagoga Press.
